I was in Laconia for a weekend and this place was conveniently a block from my AirBnB. There was a nice, friendly neighborhood atmosphere about it - the person at the counter who took my order was very warm and welcoming. I didn't notice any gluten-free options (other than the salad, and I was hungrier than that), so I went for the fish and chips, knowing that I would probably "pay" for it later on. It was worth the discomfort.
There was SO much food on my plate that it was difficult to eat without losing a bunch of fries to the abyss. But it came out piping hot, crispy and delicious. I had enough to eat the next day, and even ended up sadly having to chuck some of the fries because I just couldn't finish them. This one meal was therefore the only one I had to purchase on my business trip - so about $6 per day! Sweet.
A cautionary tale - I also got a Barq's root beer in an old-fashioned bottle. I have problems with my hands, and couldn't open the screw-top bottle, so I asked a neighboring customer to help. He tried and couldn't open it either. Then he asked "Did you get it from the Coke cooler?" Yes, I had. He then walked me over and pointed to the bottle opener screwed to the side of the cooler. Oops. Don't be like me. Learn the difference between a screw top and a bottle cap! -

Excellent Greek pizza and a nice selection of seafood. The prices are below average for a locally owned pizza place. The baked haddock is only $13.95. It's a big potion of fish and comes with fries and coke slaw. You won't find a better deal for baked haddock anywhere.
I noticed one poster who left a 1 start review complained about the pizza toppings being underneath the cheese. If you get the "special" it comes with onions, peppers, mushrooms, cooked salami, pepperoni, sausage, bacon and is finished with extra cheese on top of all the toppings and hamburger pieces on top of the cheese and sprinkled with oregano. It's unique and EXCELLENT. It's one of the best "house special" loaded pies I've had anywhere. Besides the special pie, our family of five's collective favorites are the chicken bacon ranch pizza, baked haddock, chicken tender dinner and fried portabella mushrooms (best fried mushrooms you've e. They also have the best fries in town! -

Was in the area and wanted pizza. This place popped up with some good reviews. Glad we tried it. Pizza was real good. I'm from CT and am not easy to please with a good pie. This place was real good. Small, family owned, old school pizza.
